Ahrens Valley Eyeworks was established in the fall of 1995. After over 30 years in the Optical field, and a license to practice Opticianry, I had the opportunity and ambition to establish an Eye Care Practice close to home.

The creation of this Vision facility offered the kind of family feel and warmth that I felt was a necessary element in caring for our customers. The basis of this practice entailed the highest quality standards, yet never underscoring the personal touch and individual attention that we offer to each and every customer. Our facility offers Comprehensive Eye exams, Great service, and a staff of dedicated and caring professionals. We bring many years of experience and skills to Monroe, Washington and the neighboring Sky Valley Communities. We provide this in a relaxed and family oriented facility where every one is greeted, and treated the very best.

With the ever-changing technologies and medical advances of today, We are continually updating our license requirements with continuing Ed courses. We share this new knowledge by educating our patients of the new and exciting advances in vision. This includes exciting frame collections, New lens designs, contact lenses, and medical updates that are brought to our practice.

The Eye care field is a multi- faceted profession. The Eye exam must be accurate and thorough, the frame selection and lens choice, be streamlined to each individuals unique differences and vision requirements. These services cannot be rushed. Each person has his or her own unique look and personality. Each face shape differs, each set of eyes lay out differently on the face. All lifestyle visual needs differ. A pair for computer use, to a set for night driving, from water sports, to a set for the workshop. Everyone has his or her particular vision need unique only to them. The lens correction, and materials, fashion, color and design, comfort and lens options, are a few of what goes into a great set of glasses. They are all interwoven and equally important. Today’s incredible array of lens choices, and the vast frame designs from the world over, must be individualized to each patient before the sale takes place.

Ahrens Valley Eyeworks is a place that will provide an approach to eye care a bit different from what you have been used to. We do not sell glasses, “We sell Vision.”
